I saw them under digital art on DeviantArt: vexel, pixel, vector, and fractal art. Can someone please give a short explanation as to what these are, and also name some programs that use them to make art.

    Thanks.

I’ve looking into making sculptures as a serious hobby, and was wondering if Super Sculpey is a good medium for a final product. I would like to know if it is durable once baked, and if it is only good for a study for a final piece, what would be the ideal medium for the final product?

I’m starting to get really curious as to how people make some of the things they do with digital art. And I was wondering what I could get so that I would be able to do the same. Something free and easy. And also, if you can, tutorials on how to do some cool tricks. Thank you.

  •    How to apply clear glaze onto ceramics?

    Cindy C wrote:

Hi, I’m new to ceramics and I hope I don’t sound stupid, but here goes. I have some bisque fired pieces and I’ve applied some coloured underglazes to them.

    Do I :
    1. Apply clear glaze over the underglaze and fire it.

    or

    2. Fire the underglazed ceramics first and then apply clear glaze and fire it again?

The instructions on the glaze containers didn’t make it clear enough for me. Helpful answers appreciated.

Note: I’m using Duncan Envision clear glaze and Hobby Colorobbia brand underglazes.
